Twilight the movie was really good, in my opinion. The only things I didn’t like was that they left some really important things out and fast forwarded too much to the end. If I hadn’t had read the book first it would have been a really good movie.

Awesome! Very good job for what they had to work with although some key things were missing such as Carlisle’s story.

I thought Summit Entertainment did a really good job. I know that other people aren’t very happy with it, but I think it’s ridiculous to go into a book-based movie expecting it to be as good as the book. Sure it’s not as good as the book, but they captured the spirit of the story and the majority of the plot. And if you just don’t like who plays any of the characters, remember that it’s impossible to make everyone happy, and that no real person can measure up to Edward’s perfection. Congrats, Summit Entertainment!

This was a really good movie, especially the adaptation of the baseball scene. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. But Bella and Edward never seemed like they even liked each other at all. Usually in a romance like this there’s a moment when you know the two were meant for each other, but I didn’t see it in here. Maybe it’s because I’m a guy and I don’t get that kind of stuff!

The movie was great, although they definitely could’ve done better. There was nothing leading up to Edward and Bella being in love, it surprised me when all of a sudden they were. Also, they left out all of the cute little things Edward did in the book that made girls fall in love with him.

Don’t get me wrong here, I’m a huge fan of the books but this movie wasn’t as good as I’d hoped it would be. They left out/modified more things than I expected and some of the acting wasn’t all that great, but for the most part, the casting was perfect. They did a good job at building suspense & overall it was a pretty good movie & I’ll definitely be buying it on DVD.

I thought that the book was much better than the movie and that for the movie they should not of made any changes.

Begining Bella lived with her mom in Arizona, her mom and step dad plan to travel alot because her stepdad is a baseball player so she gose and lives with her dad in Forks, Washington. She gose to school sees this family and things they are beautiful deffently Edward. She gose into science, she has to sit by Edward, Edward dosent want to smell her cuz she smells good. Edward saved her from getting hit by a van. She was fine, then he said that they shouldn’t be friends but he saves her again by folowing her to port angales, he saves her from getting raped, takes her to a restrunt says he can not stay away from her, then there was some other bad vampires who are trying to kill Bella, she getts bit and Edward had to suke to venume out, they went to the Prom after she was all better.

It was the greatest movie ever! Edward is so HOT!

  • 14. Rachel  |  December 10, 2008 at 1:09 pm

I think that scenes with Edward running with Bella and the one of him climbing and jumping in the trees by the Cullen’s house looked WAY too fake. They shouldn’t have added the tree jumping when the running looked so fake.

I really liked this movie. It had an awsome storyline and when you look at the Cullen Family, it really looks like their skin is pale. It’s an awsome movie and I would recommend it.

    I loved it to death!!

  • 17. Lily  |  December 11, 2008 at 5:43 pm

The movie was overacted and slightly cheesy!

  • 18. Daniel  |  December 14, 2008 at 1:59 am

The movie was a little to fictionized than the book dramasticly

  • 19. Katie  |  December 17, 2008 at 1:04 pm

I thought the book was way better than the movie, but books are always better. Twilight the movie had horrible acting skills .

  • 20. Mariya  |  December 17, 2008 at 1:11 pm

I honestly despised the movie. Even if I hadn’t have read the book, I still would have thought it was awful. Horrible acting.

  • 21. Meredith  |  December 17, 2008 at 1:11 pm

I did not like it much. It had bad acting but the look was really really good.

  • 22. Melissa  |  December 17, 2008 at 1:12 pm

I didn’t like the movie. The actors couldn’t act. Some parts were overdone and others weren’t done enough.

  • 23. Taylor  |  December 27, 2008 at 4:36 am

Oh yeah Jacob Black is sooooo hot in the book….in the movie….not so much

  • 24. Kenny  |  December 29, 2008 at 1:51 pm

    BORING

  • 25. Megan  |  December 29, 2008 at 1:52 pm

The movie was OK. If you’ve never read the books then you’ll love it. But I just thought it was OK.

  • 26. Rebecca  |  January 8, 2009 at 3:21 pm

I have not seen the movie but it looks really good….
does anyone know when it comes out on dvd, vhs, or blue ray????
from what i have heard and seen in the computer i think that they should of left out the tree sene and put the real thing in when she says that i not scard of u or something like that they he jumps and pushes her on the chair…
i would think that ost of the running would look really fake cuz they are just running on a treadmills that are painted green to match the green rooms!!!!
other wise the book is so much better then what i have seen on the computers!!!!!!
but if anyone knows when it comes out on dvd or blue ray please let me know on here thanks

The tentative (that means it could change) release date for TWILIGHT on DVD (and Blu-Ray) is March 21, 2009. That’s about two-and-a-half months away. CADL will have it, of course, and I’ll try to get a link up on the blog as soon as its available for holds.

  • 28. coffee  |  January 16, 2009 at 6:37 pm

seems likely that they will come out with a Twilight sequel pretty soon, there’s a crazy lot of ticket sales at stake
